time consuming work?
Stone work does not always have to be time consuming and therefore expensive. This arrangement of stones and plants took about 30 minutes to build and plant up. It will of course take some years to develop into a mature part of the garden. So patience is still needed.

Oh yeah sometimes doing things don't take much time to do it really. Probably takes more time for people thinking about doing it then actually doing it itself.
I love your picture of the flower bed! That's the thing the first year you will see some growth but it will probably take about 1-2years for the plant growth to really make the bed look amazing.
