Prince Albert`s Cairn


This amazing pyramid was built in memory of Prince Albert, at the request of Queen Victoria ,after his untimely death.Sited near Balmoral Castle it is the largest dry stone feature in Scotland and a great tribute not only to his memory but also to the craftsmen who fashioned the rocks out of granite .
