Victorian Horse Trough

This drinking trough was in a poor state when I was asked to restore it .This meant rebuilding most of the stonework in the original style,clearing out large quantities of debris from the two containers and getting the fresh spring water running again.This also involved digging out an old drain to prevent flooding in a nearby field.Hard work but very rewarding.

Simplicity in design

This originally sloping garden was transformed with the use of a dry stone retaining wall .A lovely touch having the turf right up to the edge of the wall.For more landscaping ideas have a look at www.earthmagic.eu
